Pretty...

Nothing else to say since I already gave my opinions and praise on this. So I'll just say one word. Stradivarius. That is all.

In all seriousness, this was really fun to both work on and listen to. I'm a little saddened that we didn't get to hear the troll crying "I miss my mommy!" But I admit if that stayed in then the ending wouldn't have been as good.

Nice!

Alright, this is finally done! It turned out really nicely. It seriously creeped me out too. Everyone did a fantastic job on voices, and I think I did OK, considering I had just gotten over a cold at the time (coincidentally, I just got over a cold today as well). Xerrat was really cool, though there were a couple parts where he could have used just a little more emotion. One part was the line "I'm so excited" or something like that. It was sort of a bit of unintentional humor since he didn't really sound all that excited during the line. But overall, awesome, especially at the end.

Eisaysek responds:

Good thing I found you to do Detective Crowley's voice. I had a hard time finding someone that fit his... style I guess you could say.

Thanks for your review and the 10.

Just doesn't do it justice

Sorry, but this really doesn't do the original justice at all. It's too aggressive and just shoves it in your face, especially for a song like "Eyes on Me". The original is very calm and flowing while still being a little exciting in parts. A remix of a song like this should reflect that at least a little. Nothing against you or your style of course, but styles like this should never be used to remix songs like this. I'll give you a 6 for effort though, plus "Eyes on Me" is one of my favorite VG songs so I applaud you giving it some attention at the very least.

Quarl responds:

I only wanted to make love, but I realize now I have created a monster. I'm... I'm sorry...

Beautiful!

Being a not-so-longtime-but-still-hardcore FF fan, and having FFX as my favorite game of all time, of course I'll love this. But this is also coming from a musician's perspective. The way you orchestrated it, it would feel sort of out of place in a battle situation, seeing as how virtually everything about the song has been smoothed out considerably. Now, I didn't say that's a bad thing. This is usually the case when a battle theme or any intense theme from a game is orchestrated. This is the sort of music I'd listen to in my car (seriously, I have all the FF live orchestra albums as well as the Black Mages albums) to sort of calm myself. Once again, absolutely beautiful. I'd love to see an actual orchestra perform this.
